Blackcomb Pow Day

When it's absolutely too cold

A quick video of Sunday morning up on Blackcomb; http://vimeo.com/84099375

Brutal forecast for both wind and snow...Is there any chance that Green Lake might be kiteable on Thursday?

Hey Tony - did you see any snow on Green Lake? Last time (2 weeks ago) AJ and I were up there no snow - just ice.

Unfortunately - no wind potential. WindGuru and Temperature Grid not good.

I didn't get a look at Green Lake because the mountain was socked in. My buddy in Whistler says that 30cm of snow in his yard in Rainbow has melted since the weekend. He will walk over to the lake at lunch for an OSR - if he sends me an update I will post.

I could probably leave work today if GL is kiteable, but it's not looking too good.

I'd be surprised if the lake was still frozen at all with the temps we've been having.

OSR from Whistler Green lake is "I can see water". Doesn't sound positive.

I wish the cable park was open in winter.

After WHistler, I walked on green lake today. No problem. Just ice still no snow.
