Around 10 To 15 cm fresh over groomed. Enough to "pretend" it was a pow day.

Was a good time.

Too bad I had work and dim sum obligations this morning.
Was the road up nicely shoveled?

Now getting skunked at Point Roberts.

Hero groomer conditions at Cypress today. I only intended to do a few runs to test the bad edge of my snowboard but conditions were so good I stayed the entire morning with Jerry, Rob and Benito.

Tony - my bad heal side edge was not an issue today. Excellent turns down Jasey-Jay. Next time it's icy I'll avoid snowboarding and switch to skiiing.

Fun morning session snowboarding with Jerry, Clay and Rob. Soft groomed but sticky. Upper Horizon was open - even poached some fresh snow.

Spent the afternoon snowboarding with Francis at Cypress. Mainly slushy conditions.

Tony - Francis discovered my highback had no forward lean - explaining why my heel side turns slide out. After adding some forward lean my heel side turns were suddenly grippy even on icy patches. Transitions from toe to heel side and back feel much faster. So excited I confirmed grippy turns on all runs (Jasey Jay, Maelle Ricker, Humpty Dumpty, Horizon ...). Maybe it's now time to learn to carve.

Tonight was frozen hardpack. 88°edge, 1° base bevel on the Burton Vapor worked great. Could still lay down some trenches.

Would've been even better on the carving board.

I usually run 21° and 9° angles on the soft bindings with lots of forward lean.

Carving board has 50° and 45°.
