A month ago it was not good. Last week was okey, but conditions change daily. /Hourly really/ :?: The cut was re-opened full lenght. They did change it overnight.

Day 42 at Cypress. Started skiing hard pack groomers with Doug and Bob from 9-10:30am. Switched to snowboard and poached Crazy Raven but wasn't worth it - fresh snow was too sticky. Joined Tony, Rob and Marc for lunch.

Tough choice. 10cm at Cypress or westerly at Spanish Banks.

Fabulous day of powder at Cypress today with periodic sunshine. 15 cm of fresh snow and no crowds at all. A bit sticky at the bottom but great higher up. :D :D :D

6" to 18" freshies on the "back runs" in the morning (way more than they reported). 25 knots in the afternoon (4.7 was good). Not bad at all.

Day 44 at Cypress - feels really weird to be snowboarding and skiing in such hot weather. Mixed bag of firm and slush so switched from snowboarding to skiing. 9-11am with Doug.

I went up yesterday after work only to find out that they close at 4:00 now, and after this week they aren't open Monday's and Tuesday's. I hiked the patio park for a very short run but it was to way to warm to keep hiking it.
