Snow season starting

Cypress was good tonight. Hard pack snow with a dusting of dry snow on top. Clear sky's and no line ups. Looks like it's turning out to be an ok season.

Mount Baker is going to be awesome. Snowing all week, and below zero. Looking ahead, Saturday and Sunday will be wicked powder days.

160 cm of snow forecasted for Baker between now and Sunday pm.
200-300 cm base depending on what lodge! Should make for a good huck-fest this weekend.

Baker looks like it's going to be a lot of fun this weekend. Cypress tonight was a really good, fresh snow and some powder to be found off piste. No lineups and good visibility. Its turning out to be a good season.

Day 11 snowboarding at Cypress. Fantastic morning. Waited 5 minutes for the Lions chair to open then Doug and I scored 2 excellent runs of fresh tracks in deep snow before getting tracked out. Snow was wet but Humpty Dumpty was exceptionally soft snow for the rest of the morning - perhaps it's drier due to the cooler temperature under the trees?
