When there's absolutely no wind

Looks like a good day at SC there, Dave!

A few pictures from Big Friday @ Arlington, where 3.2m and 3.4m was the most rigged sail size.... I was barely hanging on to my 3.7!

Had never got a good day at Arlington yet, but if ever the forecast looks good for there, I'd say it's well worth the extra drive from Hood River. Epic swell!

Totally agree about Arlington!! Some of the biggest and cleanest swell I’ve ever sailed has been off the Arlington breakwater on big Roosevelt days. On sub-4.0 days some of it seems mast high or bigger, with spacing like Acadia.

I’ve often launched from Roosevelt (great free camping) and spent my session at Arlington. Just don’t want to break down over there if you are parked at Roosevelt: it’s a 2-hour recovery mission for someone to drive over and back to get you!!

Amazing to think you are actually sailing in a lake there.

Apparently 3-mile Gap can be even more epic but it’s a rarer blow out that far east. The locals worship the place.

Balenas 26-32+ sisters 21 = 1.2mhb at 430 am . Probably best surf in a while locally. Chest high surf, etc. Glassy, probably 10 knots at WB.

10-11ft tide.. Best possible for 1mhb

1.1mHB. Glassy and no wind at WB. Sister/Ballenas delivering waves from the island.

Tide good until 11am.

445:730am with KD and Adam. Probably the best glassy session in a while. ;)

There is a NW, that may either move to Sat730-930pm or early morning Sunday 6am+ by tide. People will miss it if not checking. 0.9m is a go, but I would not wait (0.7m+ballenas over 20 is a go at 7pm). these are easy sessions as it's summer, and no hassle to get a few waves locally.

it's like a solo open bar sometimes... gaming addiction is keeping young people away

at ballenas and sisters, 7 pm. If they were 23 knots, then surf at 8pm @WB, but not enough.Tomorrow morning 6am, last check.

3 NW's at 5am. One of them 1mHB, probably Thursday 5am (12ft tide and under).

aside a few weeks ago... better waves at wb at lower wind this week.
