When there's absolutely no wind

First time for 2018, 745-10am @ WB.

Solo session probably. A 15 minute drive, coastal conditions.

Must be epic conditions at WB this morning. Sad I slept in. Wind in the straight isn't dropping though and HB still 1.1m@5s might still be surfable at 2:00 when the tide is back down.

Isn't the spit surfable at high tide too Gabe?

Still holding 1.1m but down to 4 sec at noon.

Very likely surf in the sun at 2:00 at WB.

720 was good, 1030am by left break. Still holding. Felt like 12 degrees.

Glassy all the way.

It was fun, but size was waist high with a few chest at the beginning.

Adam ,sup. 2 shortboarders and 1 longboarder.

Nice day to learn to surf with longboard if have any.

2 -430pm should be still good if over 1 m hb

Spit right side should be good if you know rocks, but over 14 ft tide now ... did not check that side as I was more getting small waves to get in shape... tired now.

Afternoon shift (3:20 pm until twilight) was similar. Fun for what it was (glassy, gentle, smooth, soft). Nice to have company (Slappy). Even paddled into one prone when Slappy and I traded boards. Awesome sunset! Strange how warm 4 degrees feels when the sun is out and there is no wind. Full day of HB 1m+ at 4 seconds+ - odd that.

Had a great afternoon at Wreck today with David. Sunny, glassy, knee high waves, toasty warm in my 6/5 (David was out there without gloves, dunno how he does it).

Beautiful sunset and fun little waves.

Slappy, great video! as always. Good exercise for bigger days. You had no issues with your board. Sad size was not there, next time.

May have to bring a leash for Thursday ...

looks good. forecast has not moved ... tide is too high before and after. Friday is a few knots lower, I'll skip Friday. But by next Tuesday there is another SE session, a local surf session once a week is not bad at all (SE-NW-SE-SE).
