:? Sisters (NW), Saturna (SE), my forecast doesn't show anything clear.

KD, now George (cahoots?) ... I hope it's not an Oregon forecast, that's another time zone.

Time to keep board in car, as long as I don't hit Dunkin Donuts at 5 am I'll be ok.

Ulu is in town, we'll get together this week (i'll email) :) .

My forecast is not so strong for tomorrow, but it may spike (1-2hours).

tide under 12ft. 1-2 hours of surf probably, over 0.8m is all good..

Disappointment with the timing of the front was replaced with smiles at WB this morning as glassy surf in the 2-3ft range was on tap from first light until about 10am. I counted 11 surfers at the max, maybe more overall. Hb 0.9m dropping to 0.7m as the tide came up from a low of 1.6m kept the swell fairly consistent, albeit on the small side. Stoke remained high nonetheless, plenty of seals seemed fairly stoked as well

Thank you Keelan and David for always keeping positive. I must agree, a beautiful beach day today.
What went wrong today?
Halibut bank reading (sisters at 18+knots steady):

23-27knots at HB == 1.3m, but HB did not move any higher.

might as well adapt ...

Coming back from WB I noticed huge white water (=very nice waves, 5ft+ i think) at Iona (5Km away from lookout)...

which tells me that swell energy is bypassing the inlet, (maybe even the HB buoy). I may have to bike to it (5kms away from parking at Iona) with surfboard in hand and check it out  . I've been checking Iona jetty the last few years (from lookout) and it's getting bigger (NNW).

Tom, you are welcome. Glad to share info.

Forget the bike, just get a kite and kite out there!

Funny last time I was out at Tower Beach in good waves (about a month ago) and light wind I was thinking how sweet it would be to ditch the kite and just surf at that spot for a while. It would be too long to paddle from the beach with my present fitness level. Someone should install buoys that we can clip our kites to and have a quick surf session. Angus you should call the park board.

I went for a Sunday morning 7am paddle from Locarno to the east channel marker off near Acadia. When I got there I found the swell from that night made a surprisingly fun little break right off the marker, perfect for a SUP.
