BWDUdderRedbaronSession 1: Wavesailing at South Chesterman (Friday, May 5).
Clouds. Arrived early to cover the peak of the forecast wind. Quick look-sees at Flo, Wick, LB and then ended up at SC for wavesailing. Light early on, then it picked up when Jessie and BWD took to the water. Saw BWD crack a big cheshire cat smile on the first wave in! Nice! Crew of Redbaron, BWD, Udder and myself had the place to ourselves for most of the day. Saw BWD gracious roll off set wave for kiter; Jesse wavesail on the leeward side of the sail and Udder riding at the gateway to Rosie (again)! West wind was puffy and shifty but it settled a little when it went NW. Chilly on the hands at first, then it seemed to warm up (or my core body temp lowered). Some rides, some jumps, some waves, some smacks, some swims and lots of smiles! Fun day!

SlideshowSession 2: Morning glass SUP at Long Beach with BWD and Udder (Saturday, May 6). Sweet long party wave right with Udder!

SlideshowSession 3: SUPsail at Long Beach (Saturday, May 6). Thumpy. Light wind and big waves made for a dicey mix. Caught a few rides and got rejected a few times. Got so light I decided to go check out South Chesterman.
Session 4: Sunset wavesail at South Chesterman (Saturday, May 6). Cool down session started to heat up as Tom (first DTL rides), Redbaron and BWD joined in the fun. Small brother version of yesterday but just as much fun!

SlideshowSession 5: Morning SUP at Long Beach (Sunday, May 7). Smaller, softer waves up at Tinies made for easy out and smooth rides in - that section was fun! Mix bag of different swells mid-beach with round swell proving hard to catch mixed with large dumping swell - that section I struggled with. Nice to get wet on the travel day and enjoy the last of the sun as it started to cloud over.
