G, Tuesday there is NW for WB.
20 knots minimum for NW. 25 knots for SE . May be your low specs for driving. Check tide.

Pics are too dark. 3 hrs, glassy, chest high, some sneaker sets were head high...missed those. Short rides. Was okay. Thanks Gabriel. Nice call...as usual! Enjoy Europe.

Anyone at WB? How was it?

Plane took off at 945. Got the best view off all strait surf. At 4ft there is a straight break about 800 meters of Richmond. DB break is very far but doable at 4ft tide, close to sand head. Iona break was 300 meters even farther. At 8ft should have some. WB has 2 breaks at that tide. Wb2 has just one ;) lots of info.

Flew back to Vancouver late last night and was completely oblivious about the local forecast. Luckily the wind woke me up at 4:30 am :)

I got to WB around 6:45 am. Caught a couple short rides - not sure I was in the right spot at this tide. There was a good break further out (by the buoy) as the tide went out. It was a lot of work to paddle out with the wind and high tide. By the time I got there I was too tired to catch anything! I stayed in the water for an hour or so and then had to go to work. I was the only one at WB this morning.

Thanks for sharing the info. Hope you get to see a few waves up close and personal on your trip! Safe travels!

HB was reading 0.7 m and 16 knots at 6 am this morning. I was not sure if it would be worth it but decided to check it out since it had been blowing all night, and thought worst case scenario I would get a workout in the stairs. Glad I did! I had my best WB session so far (out of a grand total of 4). The waves actually had some power in them, and sets were way more organized than yesterday without the strong winds. Adam (I think!) was also there on his SUP. I would have stayed longer but had to leave around 8:15 am. Broke a fin while paddling out. I need to learn where these rocks are, and also keep my morning schedule free of meetings!

V, You got the right tide. 7ft tide for 0.8-0.7 is just right for wb. I'll add email. Bouys in between is sandy, left and right is rocky.

George, good you had a session, 1.1 was an above average day.

David, thanks. No waves on this trip. Ulu was in town but missed the morning session, next time.

Me, looking forward to WB2, that wedge, 6ft faces

The guy on the left is trying to get the wetsuit off from his friend... That's all I see on this painting... I guess I am needing a session. Prado museum.

Not back. But might as well post because Friday's forecast looks the strongest SE in months.
PR, hide behind that jetty to get that surf. 8ft tide and increasing will make it fun from early morning. Post pics if anybody ventures as KD is away, George may make it, buddy system for this one is recommended. Post if going.

1 hour away from surf, saw car passing with boards, some other time. Seville, Spain, Malaga next, after Granada.
Forgot to post about flight to Spain, and windsurfing here... Got air canada flight for CAD$457 total roundtrip to Spain from YVR, insane, 1 stop, 787's, I could not pass. Just check yvr deals once in a while. Madrid- Avila- Salamanca- Merida- Seville- Granada-Malaga- Córdoba- Madrid, all by bus, 12 euros , CAD $83/ nite good hotels... Just in case anybody decides to windsurf these places, cheaper than Mexico .
