Sadly I could never prone surf the same boards I kite with, I'd have to kite over there with my 8-0 Log! That sounds like fun actually.

Tom, Vero, Brad, Jeff (teewgster), Michael, send me your emails (privately through wtf) if you want to know up-to-date info about local surfing (i got most of the regulars) I'll add you to the email surf group that I have, or anybody at wtf who's interested.

We got a few new breaks going (weather patterns change, as last session showed), I'll post general info here once in a while, but detailed info through email. SE's are starting, it will be a busy/fun winter season (more global warming in the coming years  ) .

G, true, there is still room on those breaks, big beach, you can have 15+, same as WB + SE is a much better wave.

forecast moving... so far,

PR 8-10am
&
Olympic trail 10:30-1pm (WR) 5ft tide on sandy beach perfect for the SSW switch after 10. Definitely good for SUPing after centennial 10-3pm, sandy bottom, this is a new break that no SUP has ever touched  or kiter.

Iona break NW, next 0.8m (8ft tide) I am there. KD I've been windsurfing that side on 0.5mHB (jetty, half way), there is no current, sandy bottom is a bonus. You'll be very suprised as waves roll very nicely at Iona. No doubt of the quality of the wave I saw last time.

10am-3:30pm tide is good for Olympic trail. Also it's good for Point Roberts.

I'll be watching Sandy Point real-time wind

and Saturna. If not a clear SE, and a hint of South from Saturna, I'll head to Olympic trail, otherwise PR until the switch, probably at 1pm then head to Olympic.

no time to post, 11am-3pm get what's there and drive back.

it may not mean much but if wind shuts down at Centennial, then you know where to go with your SUP.

Where exactly is the sewer pipe outlet at Iona? Ill give it a go once I confirm the waves aren't literal poop ;) which is DB break? Going to be in Golden tomorrow, so enjoy the waves 8-)

The sewer pipe is the 5 km walkway with the big pumping station at the end, it's hard to miss. The outfall of the pipe is a few km farther out in deep water in the Georgia Straight.

I wouldn't expect Iona to work on S or SE though.

Saturna over 24 knots SE.
It's on Olympic trail.

1.5 hours of good waves, given the mild wind. Way better that WB.

High tide not good for surf. But if forecast moves and numbers look good, SE PR is the place for a quick 2 hour session.

Thinking it will be a late session (5-8pm) by Friday. it's moving.

Solo session at Olympic last Saturday ;) .

Hb 0.7m NW plus local wind support and low and incoming tide 8ft at 3pm, probably some ridable waves at wreck. Friday looks windy from the south! Hoping Olympic session at minimum.
