When there's absolutely no wind

Gabriel, seems your interpretation of that old dusty painting is probably spot on...what else would they be doing...? Anyway might work tomorrow at PR. Wind is a bit early, but cranking. Have a safe trip home, and see you on the water.

George, 131& 13, Olympic trail. Lookout at left has a trail going to beach, crosses train tracks. At 8ft would've been nice, at 10 ft tide, can't say. Sorry, just finished checking the Alhambra palace in Granada, 6 hours. The 1.9m HB would have been sweet if SE.

SE @ PR.

Even with high tide, 14ft, at 25-43mph it just won't matter. I can make this one (some jet lag), after work.

Well if it doesn't work, and we are getting the shakes, we can always just swallow our pride and default to some type of windsport! Good you're back in the saddle again, Gabriel.

NOAA says the Sat system will be a 950 low, the end result of a typhoon...that sounds promising.

See you all there, hopefully.

I've been eating non-stop for 2 weeks to get ready for this string of SE's . Hope that counts as training ... Serrano ham, flan, cheese cake, bakery products, chorizo, and freshly squeezed OJ ... Yeap I am ready, like Adrien says "bring it on!", but under 40 knots please.

The landlord paid a visit...

I hear Mr. Gray likes the taste of chorizo... Gabriel, maybe you should be a cleanse before these sessions...coffee ground enema perhaps...?

Let's hope the wind and tide cooperates during daylight hours.

George, yes, some slight shark bites are not reported. Not as much fish in the oceans as it used to, plus black wetsuit does not help.

Trying to get a few SE sessions these days, hard to post. I'll try.

11-1pm @PR, SE, fun.
After 3pm switching SW. Tide too high for Olympic trail, no break.

Pr surf 9-12 am.Se.

Saturna at 28 knots not enough. Hb at 0.5m means it's not there yet.

Saturna hitting 40 would be nice for chest high surf. Patience.

coastal. 2 hours 10-12. Saturna at 50knots by 12

Surf had size, 5-6ft faces, but 40 knots gust is bothersome.

Had better sessions at PR, from the first marker. 1.2mHB does not lie, it's like it's the windiest day locally but surf could be cleaner. It will last a while, does not seem to be dying down at all. it was windy, jetty helped to shelter and get to big waves, coastal 20 minutes away.
