@WB : George, Vero (after), Adam + 2 other surfers.

Surf was good 6-7am (because I can get into big slow waves with my surfboard). Then at 10ft tide went to the far buoy, had a few, chest-high. Nice and easy and some exercise.

A tree was blocking the trail down and I wore my 6/5, no gloves, as mornings are never warm at WB. But by 7:30am it was too warm.

all good.

Sisters&ballenas weakening it will go 0.7m by the afternoon.

C36, funny. Well, forecast is very much flat.
Looking at La Push WA for some camping and meditation, nothing planned yet (2 more weeks of no surf should do it).

George was kind enough to show me around Seaside, Oregon (a day trip), for surfing (no SUP's in sight).
Waves were amazing, pictures may look small from a distance (flat below  as a joke) , but sets (chest high) and wave breaks were like having 3 beaches into one...from 100 meter rides, drainers (KD lingo), left&rights, fast closeouts, fast&slow breaking waves allowing direction change. Worth the drive, amazing place (outdoor hot shower+ bathroom+free parking)

You did Seaside and back in a day? That's pretty hard core.

I usually surf Short Sands in Oswald West State Park when I'm down there.

Where abouts were you in Seaside, up by the Necanicum River mouth?

we took a look at Oswald west (short sands), a few surfers, good rides on the right side of beach, but 7 surfers competing for surf ( a good wave after a few minutes) ... no lineup at Seaside. yes, 1 am to 1am, 1 day. George runs on different batteries, I just follow.
3 hours in the morning, 3 hours in the afternoon.

G is expecting this one day...same place...

Enjoyed the Seaside report! 8-)

Here is link to a friend's son Cody Young (white rash guard) Cody Young and Kanoa Igarashi in Bali. Conditions and surfing skill are both impressive! Charmed life!

Cody was gracious enough to teach my kids to surf at his home break (Hoʻokipa pavilions) on our summer vacation to Maui a few years ago. His younger brother Levi is also a VERY talented surfer. I'm sure you will hear more about both of them in future.

Nice moves ... I like wave sailing more, entertaining to watch (aerials and all).

No surfing for quite a while (next 7 days), forecast gets downgraded 12 hours before it hits.
Ulu had 2 days at Tofino last weekend.

Pistol river trip must be approaching, yes it's June! ... with an April feel :?

Heading next weekend to Tofino-Cox Bay.
Suggestions for best break location for SupSurfing? Going to get 2 sessions Saturday and one Sunday morning.
