Summer Surf 2020

When there's absolutely no wind

by Michael » Sun Sep 27, 2020 3:26 pm

A little late but wanted to share this here. Spent the summer surfing with my wife and kids in the Okanagan. A special appearance from my niece, who dropped the rope for the first time! Lots of fun watching them shred!

Thanks Jesse, I miss the coast but the endless wave is so much fun!

Thanks Dave, it was a weird summer, cold and wet in July and no guests at the cabin all summer, next year I hope. We got a new board and the kids really progressed! I need to get them into some wind sports soon.

Super cool!. I especially liked the takas (I think that's what they're called...)

Thanks Mike, 360s, they are super fun but I must have done about 300 of them before I could land one and stay in the wake. My kids just started them at the end of the summer and my son almost nailed a few. Next year! I wish I could do one windsurfing, a Taka would be even better. :D :D
