Ferry Freighter Winging

I have tried to ride the waves behind a small ferry with kite+hydrofoil but if I went close for bigger waves there was so much turbulence under water it threw my foil wing all over the place. Further away was not enough waves. Could try a big vessel/ferry though. The wheel house crew might not like you anyways if you dare too close.
