Surfing Easter weekend in San Clemente CA

When there's absolutely no wind

Went last weekend to San Clemente for a surf weekend, beginner style with a buddy.
Stayed at Nomads hotel in San Clemente, awesome surf hotel with bar upstairs dedicated to surfing. Sean was amazing, had boards to rent if needed and will take you to the local beaches.
Surfed with Greg of LaVague surf experience. He was unreal. Pro boards and equipment. SUP surfed at San Onofre state beach (long, slow, waist to head high waves at Old Man beach, friendly crowd), San Clemente Pier (steep take offs, waist to shoulder high, not as long but nice), and Doheny State Beach (smaller waves, slow, nice length, real chill).
Went from beginner to intermediate in 4 days! Greg is an ex-pro surfer from France and he took us everywhere, instructed and took pictures from the beach some days.
What an amazing weekend, left YVR at 11, on the water by 4pm that day. Oh yeah was warm and sunny.

glassy waves, sunny, can't go wrong. :)
We should get some NW soon, it's been a while; but some SE tomorrow.
