Surf Tues/Weds PR

Doesn't look like the wind will fill in before sunset today but definitely overnight. High tide a little too high with 4.5m/15ft @ 0920 in Tsawwassen tomorrow, so hopefully the swell is large enough for dawn session. Might be a second round later in the day as well with tides closer to 9ft. Then a repeat on Weds! Lets go!

Nice to see some friendly, familiar faces out there today! 4 surfers at peak. Waves were breaking at the beach and became some degree of rideable from 12 til dark. Picked up a little bit around 330/4 and a few chest high drops were on offer. Water may have been 7 degrees but it sure felt frigid! Definitely will bring my less porous backup gloves tomorrow and will try some marino wool under my wetsuit.

Adam, thanks for joining, sadly you missed the ending (usually PR delivers before evening). Keelan, very nice to have you back after your surfing trip. George ran out of gas at 4:30pm, first time ever. Fun at the end. Amazing how breaks move around with tide and wind. In love with that beach.
Also, George forgot to say, you have priority in any waves we take together, I'll exit to give you room. I already had 5000 local waves, give me a shout, I'll exit. My zone is getting as many waves a possible

Another session on the books. Today, half the swell was wasted at tides which were too high. As it was, most of the rides were on the rocky side of the beach.

GB trying to do something but wanting lower tide (doesn't matter, went surfing anyway!)
Won't be long before the new sand pile is spread out along the beach. Wish I had better documentation but you can kind of see, might have lost 2-3 foot horizontal in 24hrs
The bank was a 4-5' ledge quickly being turned into a new sandbar.
