Glad your alive and well! Shots look amaZING!!! I'm looking forward to the deck mounted GoPro video. You sure you're coming back? Hope you don't exit the sport (nothing else local 'works' anymore) as I am looking forward to hearing about your adventure! Safe travels.

Crowds are variable and mostly in the Cloud 9 area, though during offshore season there is usually somewhere to avoid them. Swell is not nearly as consistent as indo, but indo is probably the most consistent on the planet! Mid period trade windswell (9-11sec) in between typhoons. 28 or so named storms in 2016. Some are distant and small and some are large and come perhaps too close for comfort, keeps it interesting. Definitely still unsurfed spots out here but Siargao is now firmly on the map. I have heard it called the fickleppines, so a sizable waiting period is a good idea to score.
