is it a standard, circular FCS fin plug, two per fin? they can be tricky to fix yourself if your goal is a pro repair job. my first surfboard (which remains my favorite, go-to board) was very early on ridden into a cobblestone beach and had the front fin boxes on each side smashed at least an inch into the board. before i knew better, i filled the circular hole with wood--dont ask--and then used marine epoxy liberally to set the plug back in. luckily i had the rear fin boxes to set the alignment and act as a sort of vice for the front box to set. the end result is not by any means beautiful, but functionally, it seems to have done its job, 5 years running. i would probably skip the wood as filler, im sure there are better products for that. YMMV, my 2c.....
