SUP and Windsurf this Weekend on the coast!

When there's absolutely no wind

by Jaybrowner » Tue Nov 26, 2013 11:43 pm

Hey Wind duders,

The forecast is looking good for waves (for SUPing) and possibly some wind and waves (for wavesailing) this weekend on the coast. I'm thinking of either Jordan River or Sombrio. If the wind forecast is weak then maybe Olympic Penninsula for SUPing at Crescent Beach, Washington. If anyone is interested let me know. We could roll in my westfalia camper and split the costs.

Oh man I would love to go this weekend, but I've made plans to help someone move Sunday, Dec1st. I'm a jonesing so bad I would even spend the night in your gas chamber. Hopefully I get a few hours on Sunday early in the morning. Have fun, again!

We're heading to Victoria to have afternoon tea at the Empress.

If the wind blows we'll be where the best waves are, hopefully Jordan River.

We got two sessions at Jordon River today, wind was between 15-25knots. The waves were really nice in the 2nd session, the set waves were smooth and waist to shoulder high. Overall worth the ferry and the drive.

There was lots of action on the water...windsurfers, kiters, suping, surfers, kayakers, dolphins and sealions.
