C36 wrote::D Thanks Alton. That's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure I understood (and that others weren't walking out to the west looking for deeper water that isn't there.
Due west becomes more shallow slowly (small gradient) so you need to keep upwind to avoid bottoming out.
