Locust delivered this afternoon with over 2 hrs of solid 12 m conditions :D
Arrived just after 1pm to clearing skies and two kites out with a flooding tide. Rigged my big kite and self launched off the sand and got all of one run before the wind tanked

Came in and wound up my lines and was going to pack everything up when the sun emerged and a wind line appeared. 5 minutes later it had filled in through the Bay and was fully powered, then too much power! Had to use about 6" of depower for the next hour! Kited and got some nice Boosty jumps, although the Dangle factor was quite high.

Came in to switch to my 9 as others arrived but by the time I got everything together the wind had backed off again to 14m conditions.

Overall scored almost 3 hrs of TOW, pretty stoked about that! TJ'S forecast really came through when Gspot and other forecasts were showing bupkiss.

Hopefully Squamish will turn on this weekend! ;)

Flags limp at the Peach Arch, crazy how localized the wind is down there
