I'm going to make the drive down. I've never been to locust before, can someone give me a brief description of where to go/park/launch?

Boarders are all long waits. I'm not going to bother today.

Mark - drive to the end of Locust Ave where you will find a parking lot ($5 donation). Walk to the end of Locust Ave then under the bridge and follow the hiking path to your left down to the beach.

Good day at Locust Beach but only S 12-16 from 8am to 1pm. Most kiters on 13/14m kites were ripping it up. My biggest is 10m so I really had to work hard for my rides. Trouble bottoming out (very shallow) and keeping up wind but borrowing Jerry's 13.5m really helped. Lots of WA locals (maybe 6) but also some Canadians including Rob D, Jerry, John and his son-in-law ;)
