SW 15 to 18 knots Lots of land for self launch. Wet and dark clouds. No one here but me, yet

I had no idea there could be wind today, thanks.
Is the ferry terminal safe for foiling or can it get too shallow?

Not bad of a walk out compared to Bbay. Sure get deep the farther you go out but tide is coming in so in 3 hours it’ll be filled with water

Thanks. What forecast are you using, any guesses on how long the wind will last? I’m leaving in 5 min maybe I’ll see you on the beach.

Update. Blow me shows 14 to 17. Feels more like 12 to 14. But if you make that extra push you’ll probably get it up in the air

Ok not bad 2.5 hours session on 14 - 18 knots sw wind. Joined by a handful of kiters mostly on big ass kite

Here’s what’s app: a kite dropped literally on the highway. Luckily no cars on that eastbound lane.

And he did it twice. Luckily the guy helping to launch gave up on him
