Great day at 3rd Ave. Low tide super flat water and nice waves further out. Perfect 12m condition. About 10kites out. Very easy to keep social distance during low tide, couldn't even get close to anybody. I understand everyone's concerns and I fully agree to keep the social distance but have to say the daily working live and shopping gets me much closer to people than kiteboarding

On one hand good for you. On the other hand I just hope that the locals there did not perceive that activity as a gathering and demand their local authorities to ban kiteboarding there because people are afraid of community transmission. Stay home. Don’t force other communities to ban visitors from other communities.

Perception is reality. All it’ll take is an old lady complain about too much people gathering at the beach. I know just one old lady who doesn’t like us there.

I got to admit I am jealous and wished could have been there. But for greater good I avoid gatherings.
