if any of you are using the new cabrina fireball system, please check to see if it is being recalled and be careful.

I was on the land when a fireball system failed this weekend. the kite ejected from the hook and then snapped the safety (leash) as well. the lines caught on the back of my knees. i was a ways downwind pumping my kite. I'm fine, just lots of bruising and some rub burn on backs of both knees. i was in a busy spot and things could have been worse.

on a good note, i went on to finish next heat (semi final) and then won 2nd place in PEI Throwdown women's final!
