It is very windy offshore in WR (20kts).
Derek and James headed to blackie spit around 10:30. Haven't heard from them since.

Crashing on friends' couches had me late to wind both on Saturday and Sunday this weekend! The outflow was still happening when I got back to Deep Cove around noon, so I ticked off the bucket list item of sailing in my backyard:



Had I got out a bit earlier, it could have been epic... what was left of the windwas pretty puffy, long waits between gusts, but earlier in the day it was fully filled in all the way to the beach and stronger. There's always next year..

I knew there had to be a crazy one. Kudos to you. Oh yeah lifejacket is overrated -- you tell that old lady. It's hard enough to move your body on freezing wind and air let alone more layers on your skin..
