Pretty challenging self launch in the wind shadow with pretty high tide and offshore wind and small kite, but got it up anyways and enjoyed the butter smooth water by myself.

White rock had its first thermal of the year aided by the NW. Light, 10-15knots from 1-3:30, fun on the big kites. Beach was packed with smiling people enjoying the respite from the rain.

James picked up a Naish Aleia? The finless wood thing. Amazingly efficient in light wind, glides upwind much better than my best breeze.

I got out at Spanish Banks for 1:20 session in 12-15 knots around 4:00.

Under powered on 12m + SB but still fun to get out. Nice and warm until the sun set and then I couldn't do board grabs anymore because of loss of finger dexterity. With the low wind I couldn't make it up to the sandbar but did have enough upwind to do tricks and hold ground.

Good video.

I made the mistake of starting gloveless but had to go grab them halfway through.

Making a good case for the wave bandit.
