Looks like a decent LW easterly tomorrow, tides are good for foiling too.

I got an our solo on a 12m starting around 9am. It was still good when I left.

Tried for a foil session at 2:00, didn't pan out. By the time I had my kite and lines sorted out again the wind came back and I got a nice little strapless freestyle session from 3-4:30 in 13-18 knots with 12m + SB.

Nice video Slappy. Out of curiosity, what size fins and how many do you use?

Thanks. I ride the stock fins that come with the Wave Bandit Performer 4-10, it's a twin. They are the exact same fins that come with all of the Catch Surf boards other than the Beater. I might try the smaller Beater fins in it at some point but it rides so well with the normal fins and they don't hold weeds too badly.

Nice video! very clear. If your videos are in different threads you may group them together into one. Lots of people ask me about kitesurfing, I'll send them to your thread.

Thanks for the info. That board is a unique shape. The fins are just slightly shorter than my weed waves. I could try with 2 fins but I think it's more about me committing to the move (your video got me thinking :)).

I might try SuperView for the next one, what do people think is SuperView too fish eyed or is it worth it to see the extra stuff?

I'd have to switch back to Wide for filming other people though.

Superview is awesome! I should have used it on that big Sunday but I wanted to try 1440p and it doesn't have that option at 80fps. Here is a 1080, 80 fps Superview still, look how clear the breaking wave is. This was my first day testing the new camera out. I'm going to go back and use it at this rate again.
