Looks like they have delayed the switch until 1 PM. Might be a slight chance for the morning.

Waited for civilized conditions then scored an early morning quickie with Michael (gee ... that doesn't sound right). Waves inside were close together but outside waves were fun for a few hits on 7m+surfboard. Only ventured out half my normal distance with the fear of switching SW quickly. Only 0.5 hrs TOW but a good make up session for getting skunked on Sunday at White Rock.

Eugene arrived late and enjoyed a 9m session way outside at the wind line. Hope he made it back.

Nice session but unfortunately short lived. Like Gabriel mentioned the waves were SWEET!
However you had to far out to get them and I was a little nervous out there with the wind switching off fast. Even at the start I was lit on the 4.3 but it felt sketchy outside. Might have been my nerves as I didn't want to get stuck out there alone, I didn't realize Alton was there until later. Still scored some awesome rides on my 4 reaches to the outside and did a downwinder to Centennial as I new it would be a bit shallower there if the wind died and it did just that as I arrived there. Packed it in and walked back up to the boat launch to grab the van then off to White Spot for breakfast with Alton. Great way to start the day but would have been epic had the wind not tanked. Over 3 hours of 40 + knots at Saturna with a peak of 49 made for some nice waves. I was really hoping someone was surfing at Point Roberts, glad to hear Gabriel scored!
