Cheap bladder repair for backup kite?

Kitesurfing shop talk

I had a bit of a mishap in Tsawwassen a couple weeks ago, and my leading edge blew out.

Since it was an old kite, I seized the opportunity to get another one. But now I'm thinking I should at least try and repair this one, and maybe it can be a loaner or a backup. I was quoted 450$ to fix. Is there a way to get it flying again for <100$, I don't care if it's ugly or unreliable. I know some people on here have pretty sketchy fixes and I'd like to see I could make a frankenkite of my own.

It's hard to see but the bladder is ripped over 50 cm and has several smaller perpendicular rips.

I did the same thing, North sails in Tswassen repaired leading edge for under$50, was a 3 foot tear. New bladder from ocean rodeo was also $50. Took me about 5 attempts but finally with someone helping me hold the kite I got it installed.

Where did you buy the bladder? Cheapest one I found was 130 US + shipping from Airtime kite (Oregon)
