Looks like a nice forecast for tomorrow. It's 138km from my work. Sunset session with an ice cold pop afterwards!

oh ,I didn't see your post fist!

Faceplant,
have you ever try Fort Ebey instead? its totally different direction of shore (NW )at Point Partridge vs the golf course ( NE). maybe Evey Point Partridge have more side currents from tides ,,,,,

I've never kited those spots. Ebey's landing kinda looked cool. Looked like possible shore/wave angle optimization avec westerly wind. Looks like it drops off quick though, compared to JWSP

Hey, I'm down at Deception Pass State park for the weekend. I got my gear, I was considering going out here if the wind picks up, but there's probably a better spot. Let me know if you are heading down. I'll update if it picks up.

I would not personally get in the water at Deception Pass unless I had total confidence in the wind and current. It can be a maelstrom.

You need to go over to Joseph Whidbey State Park to sail. Should be a few people there today.

The clearing is out at Smith Island. I've been waiting for the clear skies to open up and the wind to blow. It's nowhere windy enough yet. Just came into Oak harbour to grab wifi and check smith. Gonna head back and take another gander. Just doesn't seem to want to push in.
