Weather gurus: What chances do we have to see an inflow tomorrow? Howe Sound forecast says outflow only but there's definitely a temp gradient? Would be awesome to have a nice warm windy day at the spit for first day of the year.

Drove by at about 5pm and it was glassy. Pretty strong outflow this morning too. Don't think that any inflow developed today.

It's pretty early to say, but this Friday could be the first sailable inflow of the forecast holds.

I'm thinking of taking the day off tomorrow to go but inflow is still only 10-15 knots... Are odds on my side?

I can't remember if I got skunked last year on forecasts below 15 knots...

WindGuru does not show any significant inflows

Does windguru usually account for thermals?

Since I am going skiing, It should blow. Of course it's a crap shoot on the first sunny day, but EC says 14 near the water and 19 inland, which suggest a thermal. If anyone goes, please post a report.
