windguru and ikite conflict a little with the forecasts. Might be a little southwesterly and White Rock might be possibility? Have to wait and see but Jericho definitely closer!

Thinking of White Rock too for a change.

What's the tide for beach launch at WR again?

Tomorrow's array of options:

Ferry Terminal
White Rock
JWSP
Jordan River

Decision decision decision.

If TAF holds it may be worth sticking around here:

Sat 6am-8am WNW 12g22
Sat 1pm W 18g28
Sat 3pm-5pm W 12

Lots of disagreement with the models right now. Whidbey looks like a better bet, for windswell anyway.

WI > ACD > JR (low tide and mid-period swell) > WR

I tend to agree with KD, here's why. In a mixed up winter WI looks to be a consensus forecast (intensity and duration both greater than local forecasts). It is also forecast to start earlier than local wind, so it will be hard to be patient and wait around if it on early down there. Early tide of 6' at JWSP (aka West Beach) could make for challenging launch though. Launch could be significantly easier from 11 am on once ebbing tide gets to 3' and below.

Locally the NOAA surface pressure analysis looks have the potential to set up classic low-high-low daisy chain that produces classic NW (as most of the models are showing), but some don't show the wind filling into English Bay (including RASP that favours White Rock over Acadia). If the wind shows mid-day locally, the high-to-mid-tide will restrict launching at Acadia to windsurfers, but the wind swell could be fun! Similar tide at WR would make water fun too, if the wind settles there.

Provided in the spirit of sharing info and ideas. Hope it lands everywhere tomorrow! :D ;)

Iona looks like a safe bet tomorrow, tide gets a bit low as the day goes on though.
