Better than expected. SE 18-22 with a couple of lulls from 10am for the rest of the day. Good 12m conditions with several sunny breaks. Only 1.5 hrs TOW due to sleep deprivation. Found a few nice waist high waves but mostly chop. Fun boosting in strong gusts.

Excellent kiter turn out with usual suspects and big smiles. I think 8mdude got over 4 hours TOW.

Being time constrained and not trusting that the SE would hold I opted for the easterly at Jericho.

Solid 2 hours on the water from 1-3 in 10-12 knots riding skim + 17m. Nice waist deep water at Tolmie St.

Sunbeams. SE wind, a ribbon of knee to waist-high waves on the edge of the second bank and sunbeams. Wind wave angle allowed long multi-hit back side pushes along the ribbon of waves, turn and head back upwind on the lower edge and repeat. Just about went in for something smaller, wind backed and then filled in again. Bare hands at first then pulled the gloves on. Fun session. M, Chuck, myself and one other kite at the end. Smiles in the sunbeams!

Super fun playing in those waves today, seemed like you could connect waves starting at the break out in front of the boat launch all the way down past Centennial. Great to see Chuck out there today enjoying the sunset session. 5.2/102 was a handful at times but mostly perfect.

That was me on the old red kite out there with you guys and Chuck in the late afternoon. I am glad I followed you downwind where those swells were breaking on the sandbar, I couldn't believe how close it was to down-the-line riding. It looked like you guys were having a great time. Not bad for a session I didn't even see in the forecast.
