Nice morning on the water today. Managed to stick with the 9m from 9:40 - 1:00 but it was up and down.

Fun waves down at Centennial and lots of big boosts.

Open palm mitts were perfect temp wise except once you went in the water, that water was cold.

Tried to hold off for 7m conditions then at 10:45am caved in and went out on 9m. Quickly ramped up so switched to 7m at 11am - SSE 25-30 waves disorganized at 3rd Ave and much nicer at Centennial. Bigger (waist to chest high) waves than yesterday but much closer. Jerry and I stayed downwind enjoying the waves with the windsurfers - Michael, LeopardSkin, Adrien L, Fin ... Other kiters including Slappy, Chalmers, Cash, Lucas, 8mdude, Joe, James, Matt ...

1.5 hrs of fun wave rides until 12:30pm when heavy rain arrived, chop got crazy and wind clocked so Jerry and I quickly darted downwind and landed at Centennial. Thank you Michael for grabbing my kite. Luckily everyone made it in.

Think I'll pass on Thursday. After 2 consecutive days of wave riding on 7m (SSE 25-30), 12m conditions seem rather disappointing.

Might try snowboarding Cypress if we get 6cm overnight.

Attention low wind lovers then with kite from 14m-17m. This is THE day you've been waiting for.

Another fun day in Boundary Bay. :D Picked up fast and shut down faster. Like Alton said waves were bigger but not as nice as yesterday. Seemed to warm up as well. Put the gloves on for one reach and then they came off for the rest of the session. Too much board on the 102 so went with the 80. Was going to rig down to the 4.2 but decided to just try some more down haul, came in and the wind died.

Thanks for the windsurfers' report Michael. I was very curious how today compared to our session yesterday. Sounds like today was another good one but i'm very happy that I scored those nice waves yesterday, since I couldn't do both days. Glad a few more people managed to launch their 2017 season today.
