It's by the lookout. You won't miss it when you get there.
I'll try to leave around 9.00am and be there by 10.30 am.

In my experience from past New Years Day, it went windy when there was a temperature gradient between Lillooet and Vancouver. Colder in Lillooet and warmer in Vancouver. It doesn't look like that Sunday but WindGuru is predicting otherwise anyways so I'll take a chance anyway. You don't need strong 20 knots wind to get going on snow. I'm fine with 8-10 knots with my 8m. It may or may not show so better have a backup plan.

When you say lookout, do you mean the small layby on the side of the road on the north side of the lake?

That looks about right. There's very limited parking so get there before Benito does ;)

Snow on Saturday.

Sun and hopefully wind on Sunday and 8 degree temp difference between Lillooet and YVR. Keep our fingers crossed.

Bringing both snowboard and skis and try them both.

Everywhere I look, it's northerly wind. Please please please Lordy.

BTW, -5 on a sunny snowy lake is much much warmer (comfortable) than +3 on the water.
