Kiting sandy point

Has anyone ever kited at sandy point? It looks like a good spot but I've never heard of anyone kiting there. Is there parking? What tides are best? Gusty?

Photos/videos from that place show nice waves on NW. But on good NW's local places look better than Sandy point.
