I'm going camping at a lake just outside of 100 mile house at the end of the month. Are there any good kiteboarding spots up there, or on the way there?

Maybe you can make a detour via Merritt and ride Nicola Lake at the Quilchena sailing centre.

Let me know if you find any spots. I've driven up that road 10 times since I started kiting and have never seen any windy spots. Nicola would be a short detour. Rumor has it they opened up access to Nicola lake again. 10 bucks per car 5 bucks per extra person. To camp you'd have to pay 35 bucks at golf course which would include access.

I had heard they lost the land for the sailing centre so I think the only option now is Monck which is in a really bad wind shadow.

I windsurfed Deka Lake about 30 minutes East of 100 Mile House last August 2 days in a row but it was gusty (10 - 20 knots). Wind was blowing straight down the lake (SW I think). Green Lake is closer to Hwy #97, looks bigger and the same orientation so you may find more consistent wind there but you would want to have a boat around.
