For experimental purposes, AJ and I went "ice kiting" at Green Lake (Whistler).

Intermittent N 5 knots required assisted "hot launch". Edging hard on snowboard was enough to keep upwind. Protected gear (helmet, knee, elbow and ass pads recommended).

Coool. Looks okay for ice skating too, which would be a blast on such a huge lake. How's the surface condition?

Smooth enough to ice skate with tiny dimple sized bumps.
