2015 is winding down and it's by far my highest session year yet with 45 kite sessions and still time for get 1-2 more in.

BBay: 10
Iona Beach: 2
Locust: 1
Nicola Lake: 1
Manzanita OR: 1
Spanish Banks: 12
Squamish Nexen: 1
Squamish Spit: 16
White Rock: 1

Only logged 8 sessions at the spit during SWS dates, just barely missed paying off my seasons pass.

I also got in 4 sessions SUP Surfing, all at Wreck Beach.

Also taught my friend Matt to kite this year which cost me a few sessions.

That's impressive, you guys manage so many sessions this year.it's hard to balance work, family and water sessions like most of you do.
Sup sessions are far apart but wishing for more SUP glassy sessions in 2016, for you Slappy, Richi and David to increase the count in the 2 digits next year.

46 windsurfing sessions for me in 2015, and planning more in 2016. A few highlights include sailing Los Barrilles one day with a grey whale, the 5-star day in September at Acadia, and a perfect 5.0 day at Bear Creek in August.
I've called it "a season" for now - the snow on the mountains is too good to bother with the cold at the beach (below my 6 C threshold), until El Nino really kicks in.
Merry Christmas and a Windy New Year everyone!

82 sessions at 12 different beaches in 3 different countries on 2 different continents. By far my most sessions ever. 13 sessions at Jericho alone.

I am guessing my number is 80-90. I stopped counting end of July at 50, and an excellent end of summer - fall combined with the 11 Philippines sessions end of Nov should put me close.

Most memorable session... probably Useless Bay with porpoises. Although Boracay had some great sessions too, including lots of lit sessions on my 15M. It is such an enjoyable kite to be in the top end on, much more so than my Evo's.

The End of August Weekend 40g52 in WR was pretty memorable too, nice to have such a crazy storm... and be warm.

With the wife going back to work, I can't see beating this years total until my kid is old enough to sit them-self or take up kiting :D

WindyTy is giving us some long range love... looks like a few more session prior to 2016 8-)

Merry Christmas everybody, thanks for being awesome.

Final stats for 2015. 160 sessions (3 doubles windsurfing+kitesurfing). 25% more than 2014.

Achievements
1. Got my favorite daughter Abrielle kitesurfing this summer and fall.
2. Learned to ride surfboard strapless (now back to straps)
3. Nailed aggressive toe side turns on surfboard

Favorite Moments
1. Riding with Abrielle in Squamish for the first time and at Locust in 30 knots (kinda scary for me on 9m)
2. Canada Day the best breaking waves at upper Acadia followed by 3 consecutive westerlies at Acadia
3. Longest toeside ride surfing (no power in kite) from mile marker to 3rd Ave
4. Re-united with lost surfboard twice. Once by VPD then by duck hunter.

Goals for 2016
1. Get Abrielle to do some basic tricks
2. Learn aggressive heal side turns, slashes and cutbacks
3. Commit more time to jumping
4. Stop loosing my surfboard

89 days at the Spit, now that's impressive. I think my body would break if I tried to do 20 sessions at the Spit in a month.

From looking at Alton's graph and my SWS attendance history I can extrapolate that I had about 32 sessions at these spots (in order of frequency):

Squamish Spit (13 - 9 in the SWS season)
Dog Beach/Spanish Banks (6)
3rd Ave (5)
Ambleside (3)
White Rock (3)
Penticton - Sudbury Beach (2)
Cox Bay, Tofino (1)

Although the August and November windstorm days at 3rd and the two strong Spanish Banks days in September were awesome, the best session was July 2 at upper Acadia, with clean breaking waves in crystal clear water and warm temps.

The goal for next year is to spend at least 10 days in Maui :D
