The fine print:

  • 1 triple session day (Pipers, South Chesterman, Long Beach)
  • 2 countries (Can, USA)
  • 2 times SUP-sailed ProWave 119 (much looser than the AllWave)
  • 4 times I used my 3.6, more often then my 6.9 (2 times)
  • 5.2 is average sail size
  • 5.3 was sail used most often (59 times)
  • 7 sessions at Long Beach
  • 9 new launches (South Chesterman, North Chesterman, Face Rock - Bandon, Garry Point, Gordon's West - Matty's Reef, Pipers, Floras Lake, Gordons, Wreck Beach)
  • 12 months of the year sailed
  • 17 of top 25 launches are wave/wind wave spots
  • 18 sessions at Squamish Spit (top spot), Centennial a close second with 17
  • 25 launches in total
  • 36 times used my 4.5, more often then my 6.1 (18 times)
  • 37 SUP sessions (not counted in windsurfing sessions)
  • 59 sessions on my 5.3
  • 81 OSR's posted
  • 102 windsurfing sessions
  • 106 litres is average board size (SUP-sail sessions increase this)
  • 2,700+ windsports photos taken and posted

2015 was the year I graduated from ‘catching’ waves to ‘riding’ waves thanks to some coaching on ‘stance’ from DavidM on the south Oregon coast.
