When I got married our honeymoon consisted of 5 days at Gordan's Beach, two weeks in the gorge, couple days on the coast and to top it off three weeks at Nitnat. :D .

Solution: tons of lessons and new gear this summer. Next spring, you'll have a partner on the water.

Just a little piece of marital advice; Your honeymoon is just about the only trip in your marriage where you should probably forget about kiting and instead focous on spending time with your wife. If she says "it's fine"... its not fine lol. Making your honeymoon a pseudo kite trip would be one mistake you will hear about for years to come. My wife and I do the Oregon coast for almost a month every summer and I sail and surf the whole time, there will be plenty of chances to kite but I'd stay checked in on your honeymoon man.

I'd have to agree with Brad on this one.

I disagree. The rate of divorce in British Columbia is high anyway so you'll likely be ahead if you take your dream vacation and buy a ton of new gear. The odds are stacked in your favour.

I ran the Squamish budget in by her, and she never technically said no, so I will put that in the maybe list. As for not kiting on my honeymoon, that's outta the question. We have been together for 8 years, and she should know what she is getting herself by now. This looks nice.

I didn't realize Turks and Caicos had so many hot kiter chics. Great choice for your honeymoon ... and congrats on the marriage thing.

After much deliberation we have decided to take our honeymoon in Aruba. Maybe we can go to the Squamish budget inn for our 1 year anniversary. Has anybody been to Aruba and have any advise on must see places/beach to kite at? We will be staying at Palm beach near the fisherman huts.
