Good turnout at Squamish today. No windsurfer but all kiters. Mostly on 10-13 M. Pretty steady wind for me on my 7m for 3 hours.

Any signs of toxic soup or debris today?

Pretty clean to me. We'll find out if I start puking tomorrow. Will be there tomorrow again, btw.

Rode lit on 9m for 2.5 hours. So much fun!!! Practiced wakestyle and the low tide made some butter flat water. Water seemed perfect to me. I'll be up there again tomorrow as well :D 28 sessions now.

Nice to see your stats on BWD. Did your dad (Dave) make it out on his (not yours) 12m?

Thanks for testing out the waters. If I don't take another family day, I might join you.

Nice to see your sail log and stats on BWD. Did your dad (Dave) make it out on his (not yours) 12m?

Yeah I really liked the idea of a table with your # of sessions in each spot each month so I joined and put all my
sessions in there. My dad did well in the shallow water but went for a second session once the tide was up and ended up at the terminal and had to take a taxi back. I call it my dad's 12m because I never really use it unless it's 10 knots. We share the 9m and I own the 7m

Awesome. Hope your dad isn't discouraged and both of you kite tomorrow. Tell him that several weeks ago I got sucked into the Nexen vortex and offered a local $10 CAD (which I always keep in my wetsuit key pocket) for a ride back to the Spit. I believe a taxi ride from Nexen to the Spit costs $20.

Nope. He took it as if that's the worst than can happen then it's not so bad  He is leaving town for work tomorrow so he won't be there. I'm using my birthday present tomorrow from the lady who took care of us when we're younger after school. Her present to me is a day of kitebording :D Can't top that present! Her name is Imke. She's into extreme stuff like jumpimg out of planes :o So maybe she will get hooked on kiteboarding.
