Gusty 4.7 wind today on Nicola today from 11am - 5pm. 15 degree air temperature and 5 degree water. Lots of kiters out on 7-9 meter sizes. Knee to waist high smooth swell shore to shore.

Thanks for the report. I'm only one year into kiting. My experience last year was early season wind was really up and down. Not uncommon to have kites falling from the sky, then five minutes later it would be nuking. Later in the season, water was warmer, and wind was bit more manageable. Super tempted to go this weekend but since boundary bay/locust looks promising I'm staying put.

Good call on staying put. The wind had lots of south in it yesterday with huge gusts. Nice smooth swell though clear across the lake. Have fun today at Locust or 3rd.

Way more west in the direction today 
Sailed 10am - 1pm wound out on the 4.7 and 84L Quad. Most kiters on 7's today with nice smooth waist high swell. Still solid wind shore to shore when I left.
