There is ways to run a wireless setup using solar for power, and a repeater at an inland location.... I will do some digging...

All right so.... I found this, if we can get it installed on the roof of the cafe, and the receiver plugged into an ethernet we'd be good. Do we have and connections with the people right along the parking lot? Might work within range.

we would have to get some donations... but all we need :D

Um, any chance Alton can get some ad revenue coming through this site? How does big wave Dave do it? Or we could knock over a bank together....

Donations and lots of help from the BWD crew setting up the cameras and weather stations. You can check out the link below and see what some of the webcams cost and how much money they receive from donations during the year. It's also a good place to make a donation. :D

I could ask the owner/operator of Centennial Beach Cafe if he's open to a sensor on the roof someplace. Would that be a good location? Ryan

We would still need to get it, find a location and set it up.

Putting something on the roof is probably not up to the cafe but to the delta parks. Does the cafe have Internet that could be used though?
