Didn't show until this mornings updated forecast but it turned out to be a classic Boundary Bay day. Still cranking at my place, probably 30 knots. Best session in a year. Waves were epic, what I expected for Wednesdays session but that didn't really happen. 3 wingers out and one windsurfer, maybe John? Every time I sailed past Jeryn we just looked at each other in disbelief.

Didn't expect much but wow!!! Arrived as John was leaving, still windy and rigged 4.5/89 and got a sweet 2 hour session, only one on the water though so a little eerie going far out. Surprised it didn't feel colder, no precipitation probably helped. Wind a little holey at times but mostly full on and super smooth and long swells, unreal!

It was cold at the beginning, I was cursing myself for not bringing my gloves, but then it warmed up nicely. The sun even came out for a bit.

Glad you made it out! Wow is right, there were a few moments I was wishing I was on my windsurf gear, especially going out over some of those ramps! :o I got some amazing rides though. Wish we could have a few sessions a week like that, well at least more than a few times a year.
