Weather Talk For BC no matter what you ride

Wednesday Wind

Windsurfing shop talk

I felt a little uneasy when I arrived as no one was on the water yet and it looked really light on the inside, must have been really south. By the time I rigged though the bay had filled in nicely and the waves were looking good. Wind was up and down and it felt like it kept switching direction. Waves were big but a bit disorganized, not what you would usually find on an ebbing tide with strong south winds. It was like they were coming from 2 different directions, SW and SE. There were some big ones though with really steep bowls, great for fast flagged out rides. Nice to see the windsurfing crew out, the 3 of us wingers spent most of the time down near Centennial sharing the waves with them.
