Pam Rocks is 35-40 knots and 10 degrees. Furry Creek would be good this morning.

Is Furry better than Porteau for outflows? Looks like the outflows might last all day today.

Less of a wind shadow at Furry Creek. High tide could be challenging to launch a Kite there though.

I didn't go but have sailed there in the past on similar days. It would have been a good full day of wind and fairly mild as it is usually around 5 to 6 degrees but sunny so 10 degrees would have been almost balmy and no gloves needed. The wind is a bit gusty in the first 50 metres from shore but fills in all the way across. Waves are close together and build to about waist high with a few bigger sets.

A few squamish wingers down winded Britannia to whytecliff park. I was on the island learning to ride gusty offshore winds in waist high swell on North Chesterman.
