Wing foil board leash

Windsurfing shop talk

Alright, a 5M wing has come my way. When the time comes, I'd start on my wind foil board. No pressing intentions to start this BUT I feel I should get a board leash. Haven't looked at it much but seems this could go to your ankle or waist. What's the way to go on this?

Fantastic, you're going to love it! I like the waist leash better, this is the one I use. You can attach your wing leash to it as well.

I also attach my board leash to my waist, but I just attach a normal surf leash to my harness. The waist attachment keeps the leash out of the way of my feet for foot switches. I use a wrist attachment for my wing leash, that way if the harness belt breaks I am still attached to something floaty.

Yeah same, coiled waist leash or shin leash for the board that stays out of the water while you're up and has lots of length when extended. Wrist leashes for each wing. Can catch the board without a leash almost every bail, but can get away real fast sometimes!
