Wish good wind season to everyone.
Had good session yesterday evening at Jericho and today morning at BB, both on 5m kitefoil.

Ho Ho Ho - Santa delivered a double session. After snowboarding at Cypress and another turkey lunch, I was energized for the late afternoon session at 3rd Ave - as forecasted. 12m+surfboard was good for super steady ESE 18-22. Surprisingly no chop ... instead clean knee waves perfect for tons of bottom turns. Enjoyed my session with Jaryn (12m+TT) and Dan (10m+TT) until it got too dark.

Sorry I missed you, you must have been on the water when I came in. I stated earlier with Jaryn but he must have switched to kiting later.

What a difference the right gear makes. Went out with the 799, and at first I was thinking I should have rigged up the light wind gear from yesterday. Glad I didn't as I slowly made it up wind where the wind was stronger. Once off shore near the mile marker it was a solid 20 knots with some fun small waves. I'm getting used to the straps, had to move my foil all the way back to make it feel right but now I think I've got it dialled. Got in a few jumps, one nice high jump with the board straight up ended with a painful back flop! When you get it right the board sure pops but I need to learn to rotate! A few nice on the wave 360s as well. Not bad for an easterly!

I arrived just as Jaryn switched to kite. He complained the weeds were too annoying for wing foiling so he switched to kiting ... and he finished with big smiles because the conditions were so good

The wind and weeds were bad near shore, that's why I sailed out past the mile marker. Stayed out there until I had to come but the wind still hadn't filled into the beach yet. Still really fun session, glad you had a good one!!
